The Zone Fitness “Boxing 4 Fitness” program is an innovative New group Training offering starting 11 September. Boxing is becoming an increasingly popular training method and we felt it necessary to include it as part of our offering.
The first launch will take place at these clubs with specific launch times:
Promenade 8:00 and 17:30
Boxing 4 Fitness will be a 45 minute instructor lead HIIT group class. Members will work individually and with partners and follow a circuit mode of boxing related workouts. These will include skipping, punching a bag (with boxing gloves), punching with pads (mitts) held by a partner, medicine ball activity, core bag activity, and functional training eg: push ups, sit ups, squats, plank, ply metric jumps etc. All these exercises are aimed at improving cardio respiratory fitness as well as strength, endurance and flexibility.
Boxing is a workout that can accommodate ALL ages and levels of strength and fitness. It can be enjoyed by beginner and advanced participants. Drills can easily be modified by you during any class to increase or decrease intensity and complexity of the workout. You can work at your own pace and get the results you desire from your training.
You will receive a full body workout whilst burning calories.
