Local club rugby face-offs

Week 10 of WP club rugby clashes saw Hamiltons hold on to their position on the log with a well-deserved 19-16 victory over Durbell. Similarly, SK Walmers scored a 15-34 victory over St Georges in the Strand. Villager, who is struggling to cope with things in the top league, fell against Sir Lowrians, who scored an impressive 31-78 victory. After losing to Hamilton the previous week, Helderberg came back with a bang – beating Primrose 20-31.

In Super League B, Belville scored a 28-29 victory over Hearts in a nail-biting clash in Bellville. The Collegians dusted off Franschhoek with 22-17 victory, while NNK scored a close 32-37 win over Hamlets in Parow. Union Milnerton faced the Violets, walking away with a 27-23 victory, while Kuilsrivier fought tooth and nail for their 15-14 victory over Rangers. Using their home field advantage, Young Peoples scored an impressive 15-8 victory over Macassar. Being the only Super League B draw of the week; Raithby Universals scored an equal 31 points against the Pniel Villagers.
