Zone Fitness Club Events

Zone Fitness Club Events: October saw numerous events at the Zone Fitness Clubs. With the start of the Rugby World Cup, clubs got involved by decorating to show their support. Take a look at the photos below!

Bellville

An awesome fitness instructor, Byron Southgate, emphasised at their CoreBurn class how important stretching is before and after exercise. The members love walking away with more knowledge about fitness and its different aspects.

Brackenfell

Brackenfell decorated their reception area for the Rugby World Cup with help from members. They put up rugby poles at reception for an ongoing kicking competition.

Members had to convert all 4 kicking attempts that are marked with an ‘X’ on the floor and if successful they won a prize.

Brackenfell also held their Cycle and Fuse event. The event is a mixture of Indoor Cycling and CoreBurn. Members loved the challenge and requested that we host it monthly!

Cape Quarter

Cape Quarter had a Pull-Up Event on 19th October 2015 with a great turn out!

Each member had to do a Pull-up for 30 seconds and the person who did the most reps was the winner. To create more of a challenge, the Pull-Ups were done with reverse grip.

1st – Chris – won with 24 reps in 30 seconds

2nd – Lerato – was second with 21 reps in 30 seconds

3rd – Serge –  was third with 20 reps in 30 seconds

4th – Gerald –  was fourth with 19 reps in 30 seconds

Cobblewalk

Cobblewalk went all out to show their support for the Springboks! The staff decorated the club and dressed up for the Rugby World Cup.

St. George’s Mall

Team St. George’s Mall is fully behind the Springboks.! Take a look at their club decorations celebrating to celebrate the Rugby World Cup. All the way Habashweee!

Milnerton

Milnerton re-launched CoreBurn on 12 October 12. It was a great success and members enjoyed it tremendously. They’re looking forward to having many more!

Sancardia

Sancardia held an Aerobics Marathon. The members were spoiled with 3 hours of fun and endurance challenges. The marathon kicked off with an aerobics class, followed by a rigorous step class and intense kickboxing class. Lastly, the members were treated to something new: an hour of Yoga and a mediation class to help them reflect on the event. There were lots of prizes to be won. They’re hoping to host another event of its kind soon.
