Jump-start your day with this delicious sugar-free smoothie! Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C and manganese and also contain decent amounts of folate (vitamin B9) and potassium. Strawberries are very rich in antioxidants and plant compounds, which may have benefits for heart health and blood sugar control.

Ingredients

  • 8 strawberries
  • 1/2 cup skim/almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp Freesweet (sugar replacement)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 ice cubes

Method:

  • Throw all ingredients in a blender, and blend away!
  • Optional – garnish with sugar-free cookies, strawberries, and berries of choice
