Club Rules & Regulations

Keeping our space safe, clean, and enjoyable – for everyone.

At Zone Fitness, we’re all about creating an energised, respectful and welcoming environment for every member, guest, and visitor. To help make that happen, we have a few important Club Rules & Regulations in place. These guidelines are here to keep you safe, protect our facilities, and ensure everyone has the best experience possible. Let’s all do our part!

Accessing the Club
  • Right of Admission Reserved – We reserve the right to manage access to our facilities.

  • A photo will be taken to add to your Zone Fitness profile.

  • Entry is only granted with a valid membership card – no mobile barcodes, screenshots, or photocopies allowed.

  • Lost or stolen cards? Please report them to your home branch as soon as possible.

Cardio Section
  • Keep it moving: During busy times, please limit cardio sessions to 20 minutes.

  • Equipment is for sharing – be courteous and allow others their turn.

  • Please don’t use weights on cardio machines – it’s unsafe.

  • Ask our Fitness Team for help anytime.

Weights Area
  • Respect the space: No slamming, dropping, or throwing of weights or any gym equipment.

  • Safety first – return all equipment to its proper place after use.

  • Use collars on barbells to prevent weight plates from slipping.

  • No reserving machines with towels, water bottles, or personal items.

  • Unsure how to use something? Our team is always here to assist – just ask!

Group Training & Classes
  • Check your club’s Group Training schedule or visit our website for class times.

  • Free weights may only be used in designated areas – no equipment from the gym floor is allowed in the studio.

  • Want to join a class? Book your spot on our app, at reception or telephonically, 48 hours in advance.

  • One booking per person – no reserving on behalf of others.

  • Arrive a few minutes early. Late arrivals might not be allowed in.

  • In case of emergency, always follow staff instructions.

General Conduct
  • No food or bags on the gym floor – keep it clutter-free.

  • Firearms, weapons, and any form of substance use are strictly prohibited.

  • Zone Fitness is a discrimination-free zone – disrespectful or offensive language and behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Lockers are provided – please use a high-quality padlock. No overnight storage allowed.

  • Use valuable item lockers for small high-value items like phones or jewellery.

  • No soliciting, advertising, or marketing on club premises.

  • Charging personal devices via our outlets is not allowed.

  • Clean as you go: wipe down machines and benches before and after use.

  • Dress appropriately – proper training gear and closed shoes are required.

Personal Training
  • Interested in one-on-one sessions? Chat to reception for Personal Training options.

  • Only Zone-authorised trainers may provide training on our premises.

A Few Final Notes
  • Keep an eye on notice boards and club updates.

  • Staff may enforce rules and provide guidance at any time – your cooperation is appreciated.

  • Facilities and services may vary from club to club – check in with your branch if unsure.
