COVID-19 Lockdown Update

Dear Zone Fitness member

Since 2002 Zone Fitness Clubs has been playing an important role, providing quality gymnasium facilities to South Africans who previously could not access such facilities, due to price, location or the medical aid to which they belonged. Now, with the advent of COVID-19 and the dire effect it has on businesses, especially related to places of social gathering, Zone Fitness has had to make some really difficult decisions.

One of the decisions we were forced to make, to ensure immediate survival, is to debit our monthly debit order members, in exchange for adding the lockdown period to the end of their contracts. To our knowledge this has been how all independent fitness club operators those without medical aid contracts) have handled the situation. Although we have had good support and understanding for this decision, we can also see that many members did not appreciate this and for that we sincerely apologise.

In an effort to give you, our most valued member, something in return for your amazing loyalty, we are going to upgrade all club members who keep supporting us through these difficult times, to Superclub membership. For all members already on Superclub status, we’ll reward you with a free 3-month membership for a friend.  These benefits will be available to all members whose accounts are up to date as at 17 April 2020.
